Hi there!
Hello, my name is Hayley Lemery, a dedicated and passionate storyteller who finds joy in the art of narrating stories that matter. My heart beats for animal rescue initiatives, a cause I have been deeply involved with and committed to. My life mission is to give a voice to the voiceless, in hopes of saving as many lives as possible. The plight of animals in need speaks to me on a profound level, inspiring me to act and to help in whatever way I can. Now, I am thrilled to have an opportunity to share my journey with you. Through sharing, I hope to inspire, to connect with individuals who share my passion, and to create a community of people who share my values. So, I welcome you wholeheartedly to join me on this exciting journey. I look forward to the stories we'll share, the connections we'll make, and the difference we'll make in the lives of animals in need.

My passion for storytelling extends beyond writing. I also appreciate audio storytelling formats, with experience in audio journalism and live show hosting.

My two cats, Einstein (orange) and Eloise (grey) are the light of my life.

I graduated Cum Laude from Florida Gulf Coast University in May 2023. I shared this moment with my twin sister, Madison, and celebrated with my father, Tommy.
I moved to Chicago with my partner, Tim, in July 2023, where he attends Northwestern University for his master's degree.

Fancy was the first cat I ever saved by getting her adopted while volunteering at Cattyshack Cat Cafe.

As my final story for Eagle News, I was honored to be the first person to interview President-elect Aysegul Timur after the Board of Trustees elected her FGCU's 5th and first female president.
